7 Quick Questions with Jon Wolf

Textivia has grown into a passionate, diverse group of people, and we want to take you inside our team this year. Here and there, we’ll be posting an employee spotlight. We’ll ask a member of our Textivia team to answer seven quick questions to help you get to know us and see what we’re all about. Beyond being an email in your inbox or a message in your voicemail, we’re all fairly human. Enjoy.

Jon is Director of Content on the production side of Textivia. His role consists of perfecting every detail of our clients’ website content, as well as helping research and create appropriate SEO strategies.

Here’s what he had to say.

Describe your job in one sentence.

I write content for websites, blogs, social media, and other marketing efforts; help with research and strategy for search-engine optimization (SEO); and help steer our content department toward continual improvement.

If a client was visiting Raleigh, what’s the one place you’d say they have to visit?

The North Carolina Museum of Art is beautiful inside and out. There’s always fascinating exhibits to see, there’s great live music in their outdoor amphitheatre, an awesome restaurant (Iris), and the adjacent park is memorable on a nice day.

What one tip would you give to clients for working with an agency?

It’s a partnership, so treat it like one! Be active in your project. Have goals. Ask questions. Engage us often. We’re here to handle your online marketing, and we don’t require your participation in your project, but we’ll get better results with your active partnership.

What are three things you can’t live without?

Drinking coffee, playing music, and reading daily.

What’s your favorite kind of project to work on?

Something brand new that I’ve never written before. I love researching new clients and their industries to understand what they do, how they do it, and how to talk to their customers about it. My favorite projects come from industries and professions I never knew existed.

What’s a random piece of trivia about you that you’ve never used for this type of question?

I used to be a professional cigar aficionado.

Describe your life in one hashtag.
